Monty Mitchell is a Registered Architect in New York State, 1983, NCARB, with experience in the design and rehabilitation of residential, commercial, and manufacturing buildings. In private practice since 1987, he has designed projects for new construction of residential housing and renovation of apartment complexes. He has been for all phases of project coordination from design to construction administration. He is a specialist in the rehabilitation of Historic Buidlings and the adaptive reuse of manufacturing buildings.

 

Mr. Mitchell is a consultant to Helmsley Spear on facade rehabilitation of Landmark Windows and Masonry on a large apartment complex in Forrest Hills. While working for Johnson / Burgee Architects from 1980 - 1985, he has been the Project Architect for the Lincoln Center Plaza, and has done the Construction Administration for the 6 million dollar redesign of the public spaces of Lincoln Center.  Mr.  Mitchell  received  a  Masters of Architecture  from Yale School of Architecture.

He received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design.
